I wrote this song on a friend's nylon string guitar pretty much in one sitting back in October 2022. I recorded a demo shortly after and felt compelled to share it after getting a pretty strong emotional reaction listening back to it. People also seemed to like it when I showed them. It felt like a breakthrough moment for me in writing and recording more acoustically driven music and gave me the confidence to eventually start recording and releasing the songs you are now hearing.

This version of the song was recorded between August and October 2023. I hope I’ve managed to preserve or even amplify some of the energy from the demo in some way on this recording. Anyway, happy listening and I hope you enjoy it ✌️
